The Wireless Nurse Bell System is extensively utilized in hospitals, clinics, and elderly care homes. It features a call button for patient use and a signal receiver for nurses or medical staff. When assistance is required, the patient simply presses the button or pulls the cord. The corresponding bed or room number is immediately displayed on the receiver screen or watch with an audible alert or vibration.

A complete operational system requires both a transmitter and a signal receiver working in tandem.
