 Meet Dr. James J. Lee 

Dr. James Lee has been in practice in Chicago and now in Orange County for more than 14 years.  His scope of practice includes hearing disorders, ear problems, nasal fractures, sinusitis, as well as snoring and sleep apnea.  Dr. Lee also specializes in the treatment of throat and neck problems to include hoarseness and tumors of the head and neck region.

 

Dr. Lee is currently a faculty member at the University of California, Irvine as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. 

 

Dr. Lee’s area of special interest is in the management and treatment of sleep disorders including snoring and sleep apnea.  He utilizes the most current treatment with specialized equipment and procedures, including laser assisted Somnoplasty and sleep apnea workups.  Dr. Lee also offers comprehensive allergy treatment to his patients as well as individualized management of patients with hearing dysfunction.  Dr. Lee’s office is also designated as a hearing aid dispenser.   

 

Dr. Lee has a commitment to patient education and feels that a well-informed patient is a happy patient.  He dedicates himself to constantly improving and expanding his own personal knowledge base by attending national and international conferences and symposiums to provide his patients with the most up-to the moment-information with regard to their health.  Dr. Lee believes that with proper information and proper knowledge, his patients are then able to make informed decisions with regard to their personal health care.

 

Dr. Lee’s hobbies include playing golf, both fresh and salt-water fishing, and day hiking in the Los Angeles mountains and in the Cleveland National Forest trails.

Meet Dr. John Y. Chew

Dr. John Y. Chew, M.D. has been a practicing ear, nose and throat doctor in Orange County for more than 30 years.  He currently sees hearing disorders, and ear problems, including treatment of infections.  In addition, he also treats nasal and sinus problems and also performs allergy evaluations.  Dr. Chew also treats throat and voice disorders to include swallowing disorders as well.

 

Dr. Chew is also a member of the teaching faculty at the University of California, Irvine and serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery, Department of Otolaryngology at University of California, Irvine. 

 

Additionally, Dr. Chew is a Qualified Medical Examiner and has long-standing experience in performing workers’ compensation evaluations to include Qualified Medical Examinations, Agreed Medical Examinations as well as seeing workers’ compensation patients on an acute basis. 

 

Dr. Chew’s hobbies include playing golf and playing the Trombone with the Yorba Linda Symphony and the French Horn with the Placentia Symphonic Band. 

 

Dr. Chew is also a licensed commercial pilot with certification in fixing aircraft to include multi-engine aircraft and instrument rated.
